Oftentimes, people focus on just one type of supplement that they have heard of which is the end-all and be-all—that one amazing food or supplement that will fix all of their problems. This is exactly the case when ginger is combined with turmeric.

Dosage and Usage
There are a number of different ways that you can take ginger and turmeric. You can add them to your diet. If you do this, you’ll need to eat at least three to five teaspoons a day of turmeric powder to see any anti-inflammatory benefits, and raw ginger should be limited to about four grams a day, as it can cause heartburn otherwise. It is also possible to get the benefits of these two amazing plants by drinking teas made from them. Cooking them is also a possibility, though you need to cook with them intelligently, as the curcumins in turmeric break down fairly easily over high heat, and you then lose many of the benefits. Perhaps the best way to get your daily dose of turmeric and ginger and make sure you get the right dose, not overdoing it and not shorting yourself, it to take them together as a supplement. They are available in soft gelcapsand are often combined with Bioperine, which is derived from black pepper and helps with absorption of both turmeric and ginger, up to two thousand percent more than without it. This means that you can take a much smaller amount of both and yet get even more benefit!
How Do Ginger and Turmeric Work Together?
They both are from the same genus of flora, and both have anti-inflammatory properties; they work synergistically, both attacking many of the same problem areas but through different chemicals and compounds, greatly increasing their effectiveness when used together. They also have their own health benefits which the other does not provide, thus giving you a greater range of health improvement and all in one supplement. The normal daily dose is two capsules, taken at different times, with meals. More is neither necessary nor recommended.
I Have Stomach Issues, Will This Combination Exacerbate Them?

Together they treat a wide range of stomach issues, including nausea, vomiting from motion sickness, indigestion, bloating, gas, and a bad balance of microflora in the gut. You would have a hard time finding a more effective combination that can sooth that upset stomach!
